This is one of the most underrated shows ever. One minute I’m laughing and the next minute I’m sobbing.

i really like how they really honed each of these characters personality, how different each of them reacts to shit. u can simply see their humanness, their human mistakes & reactions, why they're acting the way they do like oh O K, valid👌
damn, tohru's mother is the shit. for a former gang leader, how in the hell she embodied that patience and understanding. pretty cool actually, sucks that she died though

How Tohru's mom changed? That's something we gonna find out in the movie that's coming out in 2022 :)

This episode stole my heart which means that it will definitely be one of my favorite anime once I finish this! Uotani's story and of course, Kyoko-san's words almost made me tear up (but do not get me wrong because it was legitimately so dramatic and heart-warming despite the lack of tears on my part). Although it is too early to evaluate this series overall, I can already tell that this show will consistently keep my heart hooked, considering that even a supporting character like "The Great Uotani Arisa" has such a wonderful backstory and character development.

awhhh seeing her cooking and taking care of her dad at the end made me cry again<\3 so impressed with how well-written the backstories of these characters are, even side characters. it feels real, and invokes real emotional reactions, something that a lot of other anime fail to do.

This episode was sad, wholesome, and funny all at the same time. Also, Kyoko san is like a walking book of wisdom. She's a person you will really love.

kyoko-san is a legend from uo's perspective xD
in fact, I feel like she's presented as a legend of the whole series somehow, her dialogues are run in the background everytime a character experiences pain or something emotional

what a wonderful person she was :')

Tohru's mom T^T
